Started deliveries of Iranian diesel in Afghanistan

The Director-General of the National Iranian oil distribution (NIOPDC) Mostafa Kashkuli reported sending to Afghanistan Iranian diesel fuel volume of 500 tons.

Fuel supplies to Afghanistan started under previous agreements signed between the two Islamic republics. According to M. Kashkuli, export volumes of diesel fuel will increase to 1,000 tons.

Fuel was delivered to Afghanistan in tankers. Negotiations are underway for a similar parcel deliveries of fuel during the second stage of export.

Previously CEO NIOPDC covered in the press Iranian government plans to supply diesel and fuel oil in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan. Large-scale export of fuel will begin after the full commissioning of the Iranian South Pars field in the spring of 2015
