Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia announced an international competition to participate in building a modern multifunctional port in Anaklia (Western Georgia).
The decision on the tender by the Economic Council of Georgia, chairman of the competition committee was appointed Prime Minister of Georgia I. Garibashvili. Place for future port jetty Anakliya chosen as a result of a preliminary economic assessment of the Partnership Fund of Georgia. Anaklia has good access to deep water, coming and going LNG tankers, the port area is possible to extend the service-technical base of enterprises. Plans for the future port infrastructure expansion includes the construction of an LNG terminal for the liquefaction of natural gas.To list
